Mouhy Sari is a business owner who was hard hit during covid and left disappointed with the Muslim leadership around the country who went along with both the lockdowns and helped facilitate the jab rollout at mosques.

Today, he joins me to shed light on this topic and share how many other Muslims on the ground feel about this.

While the rest of the country is focused on the national voice to the parliament referendum, South Australia has already had a voice this year established in the dead of night.

Sarah Game is a member of One Nation in the upper house of the South Australian parliament and she has been calling this out from the inception of the voice.

The 14th of October also happens to be the same day that the New Zealand election is on for their general election, once every three years.

I don’t think that’s a coincidence which is why I decided to seek answers in NZ from Leighton Baker who is running in the upcoming NZ elections.

It’s no secret that not all aboriginal Australians want the voice. In this conversation, I provide a platform to Alec Dumaji who originates from the north west of Queensland.

In short, Alec sees this voice as a blatant power grab, and a means to control all aboriginal people efficiently, and under one voice. He unapologetically opposes this proposal as he sees it as his people ceding there sovereignty and their for their ability to negotiate a treaty for themselves.

This was probably one of my more enjoyable discussions over the last few years, because Alec is not a ‘Yes man’ that just agrees with everything I say. He is someone that I don’t agree with everything on, and I enjoyed pushing back on a lot of his ideas about the founding of Australia.

He also really taught me a lot and gave me a unique perspective which is rare today when people just parrot what they heard somewhere.

I clearly don’t have a constitutional law background or a historian background to properly pushback on some of these ideas. However, as I said many times in the discussion with Alec, I’m looking forward to having him on again with someone that can push back a bit more and represent, perhaps the more colonial view of Australia. Alec said he’s down.

Alec is my brother in pursuing the truth, which often seems so elusive in a nation that doesn’t educate its kids properly on the history of its founding, but he’s also someone who stood up during the pandemic, and was unapologetically against the injections of his people.
